A Late Senator from the Upstate was brought home and laid to rest, Wednesday. Senator Lindsey Graham was brought back to Pickens County .That came after memorial services were held in Washington, D.C. and Columbia.
Graham was laid to rest during a private graveside ceremony at Mount Zion Cemetery in Central. Graham's funeral included a police escort and fire trucks displaying the American Flag.
Central Mayor Ken Dill said the town was honored to be able to fulfill the Graham's wishes of returning home for his burial. Leaders in the town are discussing ways to honor Graham's legacy.
