A Pickens County man has been sentenced to the maximum potential prison sentenced on child sex crime charges. The 10th Circuit Solicitor's Office says 33 year old, Donavan Jessie Austin Jr. of Liberty entered a guilty plea to criminal sexual conduct with a minor.
Court evidence showed that Austin reportedly touched a minor victim on several occasions in 2023. Austin has been sentenced to 15 years, which is the maximum penalty under state law. He will also have to register as a sex offender for his entire life upon his release.
