A man who has been convicted of murder in Western North Carolina will spend the rest of his life behind bars. The Buncombe County District Attorney's Office says 26 year old, Kevion Martese Edgerton has been found guilty of murder.
Court records show that Edgerton fatally shot 21 year old Keith Anthony Mosely in Asheville in 2022. The shooting happened at an apartment complex and video footage show Edgerton leaning into Mosely's vehicle and fired 17 shots.
Edgerton then fled the scene, but later turned himself in. Edgerton has been sentenced to life without parole.
