A report of littering leads to another drug bust reported in the Upstate.
The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office announced the arrest Tuesday of 41-year-old John Arcuri, Jr. of Mountain Rest during a warrant service at a Utica Mill Hill home.
The charges on Trafficking in Methamphetamine, Possession of a Weapon during Commission of a Violent Crime and Unlawful Possession of a Weapon after having been Convicted of Domestic Violence come following an investigation that earlier this month.
The investigation was prompted following an Environmental Services report of littering and trespassing. While investigating the trespassing incident, drugs and a firearm were seized, leading to the eventual charges.
