An investigation into a drug operation in Western North Carolina that spanned more than six months has resulted in two arrests.
The McDowell County Sheriff's Office says they launched an investigation last fall into a suspected drug house in the Nebo Community.
Earlier this month, deputies served a search warrant on the house and found fentanyl and meth. Both 55 year old, Theresa Lucinda Buchanan and 49 year old, Robert Ray Woody have been arrested.
Buchanan is charged with intent to manufacture and distribute, she's also charged with maintaining a drug house. Woody is charged with felony possession of fentanyl and meth and a weapons violation.
