The man charged in connection to a shooting that injured two people at a Western North Carolina hotel will spend the next two decades behind bars.
As we previously reported, police responded to a shooting at a hotel on Asheville's eastside, in February of this year. Upon arrival, officers found two victims suffering from gunshot wounds.
22 year old Edzavious Javon Lindsay was arrested about a week later after originally fleeing the scene. He has pleaded guilty on attempted murder, assault with a deadly weapon and armed robbery.
At the time of the shooting, Lindsay was out on bond for armed robbery and other charges in South Carolina. Lindsay has been sentenced to nearly 21 years in the North Carolina prison system.
