An upstate traffic stop over the weekend left to the discovery of a runaway juvenile and the arrest of a suspect on child sex crime charges. The Laurens Police Department executed a traffic stop Saturday and found a runaway between the ages of 11 and 14 in the vehicle.
An investigation determined that the minor was a victim of child sex crimes. 21 year old, Jakeem Henderson was arrested at the scene. He faces multiple counts of criminal sexual conduct with a minor between 11 and 14 years old, producing child pornography, soliciting a minor and other charges.
Henderson was booked at the Laurens County jail where he is being held without bond.
