The man who's body was found earlier this week in the Upstate has now been identified. The Greenville County Sheriff's Office responded Tuesday after a body was found in the woods along Fairmont Avenue in Greenville.
The Coroner's Office has identified the man as 56 year old, Richard Larry Dixon. The Coroners Report says they believe Dixon had been dead for weeks before his body was found.
Dixon's cause and manner of death are still pending.
