The Upstate man found dead after being shot earlier this week has now been identified. The Greenville County Coroner's Office has identified the man as 26 year old, Jonathan Mejia of Spartanburg.
He was pronounced dead just around 6:45 Tuesday morning, after being found in the drivers seat of a car on Augusta Street. The Coroner's Office says Mejia died from a gunshot wound to the head. The fatal shooting is still being investigated by the Greenville Police Department.
