Man from Puerto Rico sentenced on federal gun and drug charges

A man from Puerto Rico will spend more than two decades in prison after pleading guilty to drug and gun trafficking charges. The U.S. Attorney's Office says 27 year old, Esteban Colon Pacheco was selling meth and cocaine in the Upstate in 2022 and 2023.

He also enlisted the help of women to purchase guns that he could have them modified and sell them as fully automatic weapons. Two of the women associated with Pacecho have pleaded guilty on gun trafficking charges. One of them has been sentenced to 8.5 years and another is awaiting sentencing.
