The man who was killed in a hit and run crash Monday in the Upstate has now been identified. The South Carolina Highway Patrol responded just before 4PM to a crash on South Highway 11 near Westminster.
The Oconee County Coroner's Office says a pick up truck hit a pedestrian, leaving 34 year old Devon James Turner dead. The Highway Patrol says the driver of the black Chevy Dually fled the scene.
The search for the truck continues, anyone with information is asked to contact the Highway Patrol at 864-241-1000.
