The man who died after an officer involved shooting in Laurens County has now been identified. The Laurens County Coroner's Office has identified the man as 52 year old, Daniel Strange of Clinton.
The Sheriff's Office says, Strange was shot around 1:30 AM Monday on Shore Loop Road in Waterloo. He was airlifted to an area hospital, where he later died. SLED is investigating the incident, which is standard procedure in officer involved shootings around the state. No further details have been made available as of this time.
