A manufacturing company has announced plans for expansion in the Upstate. Monti Inc. will be spending $4.7 million to expand its operations in Greenwood County. Hiring is expect to begin in Summer 2022.
The 86,000 square foot facility will serve as the company's 3rd location in Greenwood County. With the expansion the company expects to enhance their capabilities all over the Southeast.
Governor McMaster said of the announcement " The 4.7 million dollar investment by Monti, is one of many success stories for South Carolina's manufacturing sector. This investment and job creation will provide a boost to Greenwood County's economy while bringing additional jobs to rural South Carolina".
