A judge has ordered that a North Carolina town must release video footage after its mayor was caught with his pants down, literally. A judge has ruled that the town of Mooresville must release video footage of Mayor Chris Carney inside townhall after hours with a woman, while Carney was not wearing any pants.
The judge says the town must turn over the footage to WBTV in Charlotte in the coming week. The town tried to suppress the video citing security concerns, however the judge did not buy that explanation. The ruling comes after Carney was reportedly seen on video with a woman who was receiving taxpayer funding as a consultant. The incident happened after midnight in October of 2024.
The Town's Commission has since voted against Carney 4-2 in a no confidence vote. A former IT employee has filed a lawsuit claiming the town retaliated against him for not suppressing or deleting the video. That suit says the video shows Carney and the woman going upstairs into an office.
A little while later, video reportedly shows Carney walking down the hallway pant less with his genitals exposed and in an obvious state of arousal.
