Two of the Palmetto State's highest ranking officials are once again issuing a warning ahead of planned protests around the state. Governor McMaster and Attorney General Alan Wilson posted on social media Friday in response to the riots in Los Angeles.
McMaster posted on X saying law enforcement around the state will not tolerate lawless behavior associated with protests this weekend. McMaster warned those coming to the state for the protests not to cause trouble because "you will be held accountable".
Wilson posted this morning saying that Israel's strike on Iran could add fuel to the fire, so to speak.
Wilson said he fully supports the right to peacefully protest but "lawlessness will not be tolerated". A number of protests across the state are slated for tomorrow.
