Investigators in the Midlands are searching for a suspect who is accused of pistol whipping a man and a child, over the weekend. The Sumter Police Department responded to a reported incident at a business on Broad Street, around 6PM Saturday.
Police say, a suspect identified as Rayshon Jamaal Foster walked into a business and pistol whipped a man who was holding a two-year-old child. Foster also hit the child during the attack.
Foster drove away prior to police arriving. Foster is charged with assault and weapons violations.
As of Sunday evening, Foster remained at large. He is considered armed and dangerous.
