More charges filed against a Pelzer man arrested in connection with a dogfighting investigation...
A search warrant executed on a Grey Road property in Pelzer Wednesday uncovered 10 dogs, including a puppy, showing signs of neglect and injuries consistent with dogfighting.
The Greenville County Sheriff's Office arrested 44 year-old Curtny Jemario Stewart. He was initially charged with 10 counts of ill-treatment of animals.

Thursday Investigators announced additional charges after finding illegal narcotics and at least one firearm. Stewart now faces 10 counts under the Animal Fighting or Baiting Act, child endangerment, fentanyl possession and other weapons charges.
All 10 dogs were removed from the property and placed in the care of the ASPCA.
