More details have been released a deadly weekend house fire in the Upstate. As we previously reported, 1st responders were dispatched to a home on Country Estates Road in Woodruff, early Sunday morning. The Coroner's Office says 61 year old, Laura Pillion died in the fire.
The Spartanburg County Sheriff's Office says no signs of foul play or arson were found in the investigation. According to the Sheriff's Office fireworks were shot near the the home. Spent fireworks and debris were put into a plastic trash can adjacent to the porch of the home.
After investigating the fire was said to have started near the porch. The Sheriff's Office says they have now closed their investigation into the deadly fire.
