A motorcyclist is dead following a weekend crash in the Upstate. The crash happened around 8:20 Friday night on LaFrance Road near Highway 76 about 6 miles west of Anderson.

Master Trooper Gary Miller of the South Carolina Highway Patrol says the crash says the driver lost control of the Harley Davidson, went off the right side of the road, hit a ditch and then spilled. The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
