Mayhem in the Mountains last week has led to the arrests of two suspects in Western North Carolina. As we previously reported, a multi-county manhunt ensued after a shooting in Swain County, last Thursday.
Authorities were searching for the alleged shooter 23 year old, Luis Alfredo Reynosa. His vehicle was found abandoned that afternoon in neighboring Jackson County, but Reynosa remained at-large.
On Friday, warrants were issued for 29 year old Kristen Danielle Ramey who was wanted for accessory after the shooting. On Friday, afternoon the Jackson County Sheriff's Office announced that both suspects were in custody.
Reynosa is charged with assault with a deadly weapon and shooting into an occupied dwelling or vehicle. He has been denied bond, Ramey was given a bind of $50,000.
