A house fire in the Upstate prompted a response from multiple fire departments. A home in Anderson County caught fire early Thursday morning, the West Pelzer Fire Dept. responded around 4:15 AM. The two story house was reportedly engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived.
Crews were able to get the blaze under control in less than half an hour on scene. The West Pelzer Fire Dept. was assisted by crews from the Williamston, Whitefield, Wren and South Greenville Fire Departments. There's been no word on what caused the fire.
