An arrest has been made after a fatal domestic violence incident in the Upstate, late last week. Officers from the Union Police Department responded Thursday night to a reported domestic assault at a home on Tiger Court.
Officers found the victim, 62 year old Lee Dawkins unresponsive, he was pronounced dead after being taken to an area hospital. Investigators say, 51 year old Felicia Annette Mitchell hit Dawkins with a blunt object resulting in his fatal injuries.
Mitchell is charged with murder and is being held at the Union County Detention Center.
