A suspect is in custody after a man's body was found in the woods of Western North Carolina. The Black Mountain Police Department says 25 year old, Javorie Ammon Thompson has been arrested in connection to the death of Jeraun Spencer.
Thompson is charged with murder after Spencer was found shot to death in the woods of Buncombe County. Thompson was apprehended Wednesday morning after a traffic stop on I-40.
He is being held in Buncombe County on a bond of $500,000.
