A North Carolina business owner is facing murder charges after he allegedly shot his co-owner, Wednesday afternoon. The incident happened at Old Hickory Tannery Furniture in Newton about 40 miles Northwest of Charlotte.
Police arrived and found a man suffering from gunshot wounds. He died at the scene and has been identified as 59 year old, Robert Roger Arguelles. His business partner and the founder of Old Hickory 85 year old, Willard Gary Black was identified as the suspect.
Black was taken into custody at the scene and is charged with 2nd degree murder. Police say an argument between the two led to the shooting. However, no further details have been released at this time.
