A Charlotte man is facing charges after throwing a party over the weekend at a house that did not belong to him.
The Union County Sheriff's Office in North Carolina says 37 year old, Michael Brown threw a party Saturday at a home in the Charlotte suburb of Weddington.
Investigators eventually learned that Brown had been hired to do yard work at the home and the owners had gone on vacation. Brown then reportedly threw a party and charged an entry fee.
It's unclear how much money he made from admissions. Deputies were called to the home for noise complaints and traffic hazards, multiple times.
The Sheriff's Office says Brown claimed the house belonged to his grandparent. He's charged with breaking and entering, trespassing and multiple other charges.
