New charges have been filed against the suspect in an Upstate death investigation. The Greenville County Sheriff's Office reports, that 21 year old, Tyler Wilkins now faces charges of murder and kidnapping.
Investigators say, Wilkins confined a woman inside a home on Saw Mill Road in Marietta and assaulted her causing her death. The victim, 22 year old Clarissa Michelle Winchester was found dead inside the home.
The Sheriff's Office says, a lifeless fetus was found near the victim, as well. Wilkins had already been arrested and charged for unlawful conduct after not seeking medical attention for the baby. There's been no word on his motive or what led to the brutal beating.
