New details released after fatal shooting in downtown Greenville

More details have been released after a fatal weekend shooting in the Downtown Greenville. As we previously reported, 28 year old Brian Murray was arrested after the deadly shooting near South Main and Rhett Streets near Downtown Greenville, Sunday night.

The victim has been identified as 27 year old, Shamari Slade. He was transported to Greenville Memorial Hospital where he later died. Investigators say, a verbal argument between Murray and Slade led to the shooting. Murray was apprehended at East Washington Street and Laurens Road, after a brief chase.

He's charged with murder, failure to stop and a weapons violation. Police now say a 2nd suspect, Jhiytavious Brown has been arrested in connection to the incident. He's charged with aggravated breach of peace.
