Two suspects are now in custody after an officer involved shooting in North Georgia. The Lavonia Police Department responded to the Beaver Creek Trailer Park just after noon Thursday.
Police say an armed suspect was found there which led to an officer involved shooting. One of the suspects was injured, no officers were injured in the incident.
Following a search and brief chase on foot, two suspects, Justice Spencer and Koran Norman around 9PM. They are charged with aggravated assault and may face additional charges as the investigation continues.
Both officers were placed on administrative leave.
