Workers are protesting GE's corporate-wide vaccine mandate. The protests have spread from Greenville to GE plants in Ohio and Indiana, but so far the company says the December 8th deadline for all personnel to get the vaccine will not change.

Dozens of the Power center's employees walked out of the complex on Garlington Road Thursday . some were joined by their families yesterday in a sign carrying demonstration against the order. Many of the protesters feel the vaccination should be a decision within families, not businesses or the government.

However, GE is a major government contractor and subject to the Biden Administration order for all federal employees and companies doing business with the government to make vaccinations condition of employment. The Greenville County Republican Party has issued a statement expressing solidarity with the GE workers.
