No criminal charges will be filed following the death of baby in the Upstate, earlier this week. The Anderson County Sheriff's Office reports that a three month old child died there, Wednesday.
The lead detective on the case met with the Anderson County Coroner's Office and reviewed findings from the autopsy. The coroner's office has ruled that the baby died from asphyxiation due to sleeping unsafely.
The Sheriff's Office believes the death was accidental and says no criminal investigation will be launched into the guardians of the child.
