North and South Carolina cities rank among nation’s best

Multiple cities from the Carolinas made their way onto a national ranking of best cities to live in in the United States.

The US News and World Report ranking placed South Carolina’s Myrtle Beach at 18th, Greenville at 31st and Spartanburg at 43rd overall.


Several North Carolina cities ranked even higher, with Raleigh and Durham ranking all the way up at 3rd. Charlotte also found a place in the top 10 at 8th, and Hickory and Asheville also sat comfortably at 25th and 29th respectively.

Savannah, Georgia also made it onto the list, representing the Peach State at 37th place.
