A North Carolina murder suspect is back in custody after being released by mistake, last week. The Mecklenburg County Sheriff's Office says, Jaylan Noah Davis was released Thursday due to a clerical error.
Davis faces charges of murder and other violent crimes after allegedly shooting and killing a man in November of last year. Davis turned himself in Saturday morning.
He's being held without bond in Mecklenburg County and is expected to appear in court, Monday.
The Sheriff's Office says the mistake happened after they received an incorrect court order that showed the charges had been dropped.
