The National Transportation Safety Board has revealed new information following a fatal plane crash in the Western North Carolina mountains, last month.
On July 7th, a Cessna plane was flying from Johnson County Airport in East Tennessee to Rutherford County Airport in Western North Carolina. The plane was leaded to Airstar Aviation of Chester for skydiving operations that day.
The NTSB says the plane hit a tall tree, then a grove trees, went down and caught on fire in McDowell County, NC. The pilot and two others on board were killed in the crash.
