An Oconee County man facing trafficking charges after he allegedly tried to ditch his drugs inside a business there earlier this year. The Sheriff's Office responded in Mid-January to a business in the Fair Play Community.
An employee reported that they found drugs inside a drink holder. Investigators say 41 year old Michael Stephen Burns of Seneca sat the drink holder next to the door of the business, as the South Carolina Highway Patrol was on scene in the parking lot.
Burns has been taken into custody on a charge of trafficking meth. The Sheriff's Office says he has multiple prior drug convictions.
