An Upstate man is dead following a lawn mower accident over the weekend. The Oconee County Sheriff's Office says, 73 year old Webster Bruce died after his zero turn mower rolled over on top of him.

The Coroner's Report says, Bruce was going down on a hill on his property on North John Street in Walhalla when the accident happened. Officials responded, after a passer by reported seeing Bruce under the mower, around 11:45 Saturday Morning.
Bruce was pronounced dead at the scene, despite attempted life saving measures from first responders. The incident has been ruled an accidental death.
