An Oconee County man is dead after yet another pedestrian vs vehicle collision in the Upstate. The Oconee County Coroner's Office says a pedestrian was walking in the road on Highway 123 near Westminster when he was hit, early Tuesday morning.
The deceased was found dead at the scene and has been identified as 63 year old, David Wayne Lay of Westminster. This is the latest in a recent rash of pedestrian fatalities across the Upstate.
