(Walhalla SC) The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Westminster man yesterday on drug charges.
66 year old Lamar Matthew Cobb of Pickens road in the Westminster area was booked into the Oconee County Detention Center for Distribution of Methamphetamine around 5:30pm March 4, 2021. Cobb was taken into custody by Oconee County Investigators while executing a search warrant for the Cobb residence. The amount of illegal drugs weighed approximately 3.22 grams.
Investigators from the Criminal Investigations Division were able to recover property that was reported stolen from a business in Seneca SC and able to return that property to the victim. The property value was reported to be over $200,000.00. A Westminster man has been arrested in that incident and the investigation continues in regards to other possible crimes.
