A crash involving an Upstate police officer shut down a busy Upstate highway, Thursday morning. A total of four vehicles were involved in the collision. The crash happened on I-385 Northbound near exit 33, (Bridges Road).The crash temporarily shut down all lanes of travel.
The Highway Patrol says the vehicle driven by an officer, crashed into the back of another vehicle, causing a chain reaction that involved two other vehicles.
The officer and another driver were taken to the hospital with minor injuries. Troopers say the Officer has been ticketed for driving too fast for conditions.
