A weekend plane crash in the Upstate injured two people. The FAA and officials at Union County Airport say that a small plane had to make an emergency landing there around 7 PM Saturday night.
The plane took off from York County Airport and shortly after take off the plane had mechanical issues, forcing the pilot to land at Union County Airport. However, the landing did not go as planned and the plane ended up running off the runway. Officials say two people suffered minor injuries in the incident and were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
