"On and popping" Fall For Greenville underway

Fall for Greenville kicked off with a concert Thursday night. The main event runs from Friday through Sunday. The festival is featuring a record 61 restaurants and food trucks this year.

Police say they will "closely enforce" some rules intended to make this weekend's festival safer and more enjoyable for everyone.


Greenville Police spokesman Sergeant Jonathan Bragg says officers on patrol throughout the weekend will be watching for violations. The list of the violations.

No smoking or vaping within the event site , (inside any of the barricade gates). Alcohol may NOT be brought in from the outside. Coolers, lawn chairs and blankets shouldn't be carried in either.

Personal transportation devices are prohibited. That includes bikes, skateboards and roller skates. Wheelchairs and motorized scooters are exempt. No pets allowed other than service animals, and open carry of firearms is not permitted at any of the event areas.
