One person was critically injured in a Christmas Eve shooting in Western North Carolina. The Asheville Police Department responded to a reported shooting near a business on Depot Street, just before 930 Sunday night.
Upon arrival, officers found a 19 year old male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was critically wounded and was transported to Mission Hospital.
Police found more than a dozen shell casings at the scene. No arrests have been announced, as of the time of this report.
