One person is dead after a shooting in Gaffney, Friday. The Cherokee County Sheriff's Office responded to a home on 3rd Avenue around Noon.
Upon arrival, Deputies found a man dead inside the home after being shot. The victim has been identified as 37 year old, Nigel Phillips.
The suspect fled the scene prior to Deputies arriving. No arrests have been announced, as of the time of this report.
