Anderson County Sheriff's Office deputies were called to a home Riley Road in Easley, just before 7AM Monday, regarding a shooting. When deputies arrived, they found a man in the home with a gunshot wound, who died at the scene.
A Sheriff's Office spokesman says that investigation is ongoing, but this shooting is believed to be an isolated incident and there is no further threat to the public at this time. The name of the victim has not yet been released.
