One person is dead and two others are injured after a single vehicle crash in Greenville County. The crash happened around 2:15 Wednesday morning on Gum Springs Road, about 7 miles north of Greer.
The Highway Patrol says the driver of a Toyota sedan ran off the road and hit a tree. The driver and a three year old passenger were injured and transported to an area hospital. Another passenger in the vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene.
The identity of the deceased has not been released. The crash remains under investigation.
