An arrest has been made after a murder investigation at a Western North Carolina gas station. The Buncombe County Sheriff's Office responded to a reported fight at the Shell station on Sweeten Creek Road in Arden, around 7AM, Monday morning.
Deputies arrived and found the victim Jodi Anderson dead at the scene. The suspect, John Blodgett was apprehended at the Walmart in Arden. He's charged with 1st degree murder and armed robbery.
