One person is dead following a crash in Oconee County. The one vehicle crash happened on Edgewater Drive about 5 miles from Westminster just after noon Wednesday. The Highway Patrol says the driver of a Ford truck drifted left of the centerline , went off the road and struck a utility pole. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene, the crash remains under investigation. The identity of the driver has not been released, as of the time of this report.
