A woman is dead after a shooting at a motel Tuesday night. The Anderson County Sheriff's Office says the fatal shooting happened around 11:30 at the Baymont Inn on Interstate Boulevard in Anderson.
Upon arrival, deputies found the victim suffering from at least one gunshot wound. She was taken to a nearby hospital, where she later died. The Sheriff's Office has not released any suspect information or the identity of the victim, as of the time of this report
