One person is dead following a weekend crash in the Upstate. The single vehicle wreck happened around 9:45 Friday night on I-26 westbound near the 47 mile marker in Laurens County.
Master Trooper Mitchell Ridgeway of the South Carolina Highway Patrol says, the driver of a Chevy Pickup ran off the right side of the road, overcorrected then went off the leftside of the road and hit a median barrier. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
