An Upstate man is dead after a weekend shooting. The Greenwood County Coroner's Office says the victim died during surgery at a hospital there, Saturday morning.
The Coroner's Office identified as 47 year old, Samuel Raymond Wright. He was transported to the hospital by EMS after being shot.
A suspect 23 year old, Bryson Thomas Long was arrested in connection to the shooting. Long is charged with murder and a weapons charges.
