One person was killed and two others were injured in a weekend crash in Greenville County. The crash happened Saturday evening at I-185 near Fork Shoals Road in Simpsonville.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol says a Ford Focus and a Toyota sedan collided and the Focus then hit a highway barrier. The driver of the Focus was pronounced dead at the scene.
The passenger and the passenger in the sedan were both injured and transported to the hospital. The Greenville County Coroner’s Office has identified the victim as 36-year-old Javier Visbal Ortega of Piedmont.
